God's Promise That His Word Will Never Change

Matthew 5:18, “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

Certain portions of the Holy Bible have always been hard to understand. One of Jesus' very own apostles, Peter, had difficulty understanding Paul's writings:
2nd Peter 3:15-16, "And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction."
The Apostle Peter admitted that he had difficulty understanding the writings of Paul. Nothing has changed 2,000 years later, except that with the invention of the internet we now have an incredible access to information and study tools that Christians even a hundred years ago could only have dreamed of having. We are so blessed!

Having said that, I humbly think that the common man can understand God's inspired Word, if he or she studies, just as Peter had to do. The false idea that we need a new Bible that reads like a newspaper or comic book that any lazy person can understand is not biblical. We are exhorted in the Bible in 2nd Timothy 2:15 to "study" to rightly divide the Word of Truth.

God authored the Bible in such a way that even unlearned men can read it and have their lives changed if they are humble and pure of heart, while highly educated scholars and learned men can read the Bible and remain unchanged because of their self-righteousness and pride that blinds them. Having a proper attitude toward God's Word is far more important than trying to water it down so that even Christ-rejecters can understand it. The Bible teaches in 1st Corinthians 2:14-16 that the natural (unsaved) man cannot understand the Scriptures. So, it is a folly to attempt to reduce the Bible to the level of hellbound infidels.

Here is a link to a missionary in China, who uses the English King James Bible as his basis to translate God's Word into dozens of other languages for the common people. I find no fault in the inspired King James Bible!!!

The Devil's modern Bible revisions may be easier to read, but since they are doctrinally corrupt the truth has been obliterated. The new bibles horribly change what it means to repent. They change God's simple plan of salvation, adding Lordship Salvation to faith, perverting the Gospel. The new Devil's bibles ruthlessly attack Jesus' deity, remove the Godhead (Triunity), and pervert the Scriptures.

I thank God for the more difficult to understand King James Bible. I got saved at age 13. I had a hard time understanding some passages of Scripture, but I understand 95% of what I was reading. The Gospel of John (God's Gospel tract) is very easy to read and comprehend. The King James Bible reads at a 5th grade level. The Devil's New International Version (NIV) reads at a 7th grade level. We don't need a new Bible version. The King James is not a “
version, it is God's inspired Word, the Holy Bible!
