Galatians 6:7, God's Promise To Punish False Teachers And Their Followers

Galatians 3:1-3, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” Galatians 6:6-8, “Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

The entire purpose of the Epistle of Galatians is to rebuke and warn the churches of Galatia that they had been infiltrated and corrupted by a religious cult concerning the Gospel. Our text verse from Galatians 3:1 is very plain. The apostle called the churches of Galatia “foolish,” because they had adopted a perverted plan of salvation that required keeping the law in addition to faith in Jesus Christ. This was very similar to the popular heresy of Lordship Salvation today, which requires that people surrender all to Christ, turn away from sinful bad habits, faithfully run the race (live the Christian life), exchange all that you are for all that Christ is, count the cost and pay the price and follow Jesus no matter what the cost, to be saved.

The method of salvation is frequently different, but the core basis is always the same—the focus is upon YOU instead of only upon JESUS CHRIST to be saved. I love what Paul said in Galatians 3:2-3, “This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” Paul said that he only wanted to know ONE THING—were they indwelt by the Holy Spirit (i.e., born-again) by doing the works of the law, OR by simply believing the Gospel they heard preached? Here we see the childlike simplicity of salvation. 

Notice that this is how 3,000 people were wonderfully saved on the Day of Pentecost. Acts 2:41, “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.” Several thousand tourists to the city of Jerusalem heard the Apostle Peter preach the Gospel. The 3,000 people who gladly received the truth of the Gospel being preached were instantly saved. As a public profession of their salvation they were water baptized. In the Bible, NO ONE ever got water baptized before or as a requirement to be saved. Believer's baptism always followed salvation. 

There was no probationary period. The disciples didn't require that those 3,000 people be monitored, scrutinized and followed up for time to come, to determine if they really got saved. I am so sick and tired of hearing Pacific Garden Mission (i.e., 'UNSHACKLED' radio), the Bob Jones University crowd, Evangelist Ray Comfort and other false teachers, saying that we must watch someone's life who has professed faith in Christ, to see if they really got saved. If you have to live the Christian life to prove the genuineness of the reality of your faith, you are not saved. That is exactly why Paul is rebuking the churches of Galatia, for teaching that unless a person keeps the law they're faith is insufficient to save them. The Bible teaches FAITH IN CHRIST, PERIOD; not FAITH IN CHRIST, PLUS something more to be saved.

All false religions require some degree of works to get to Heaven. Many pseudo-Christian religions (i.e., false Christian religions) are caught between grace and works. They'll say deceitful things like—“We're saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, but we must do works to prove that our faith is genuine.” This is what the Bob Jones crowd (Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Gary Walton, Chuck and Daniel Phelps, et cetera) heretically teach. Please keep in mind that all false gospels include faith in Jesus Christ! All of your pseudo-Christian cults include faith in Jesus, but they also require MORE. This is why Paul is upset at the churches of Galatia, for adding the works of the flesh to faith alone. Galatians 3:3, “Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” Paul is rebuking and exposing the false idea that you get saved by faith, and then you need to prove you're saved by the works of the law. Effectively this is adding works to grace.

Turning away from one's sinful ways to be saved is a work of the flesh. Nowhere in the Scripture are we taught to turn or repent of sin to be saved. Repentance is required for salvation, but to “repent” simply means to change one's mind. 2nd Timothy 2:25 speaks of “repentance to the acknowledging OF THE TRUTH.” It doesn't say “OF YOUR SINS,” does it. Repentance is simply the realization that you are a guilty needy sinner (Romans 3:19-20), so that you will BELIEVE ON JESUS to be saved (Galatians 3:24-26). Salvation is not partial faith in Christ plus turning from your sin, or surrendering all to Christ as Lord. Salvation is simply receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, resting in the risen Savior for forgiveness of sins and eternal life (1st Corinthians 15:1-4; John 6:47).

Evangelist Paul Washer is a devout Calvinist, who heretically says:

“No, no, if you don't have works, you're going to Hell!”

What saith the Scripture? Romans 4:4-7, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.” I don't know about you, but I am going to believe God, and not Paul Washer (Romans 3:4). The Bible says we are saved WITHOUT WORKS (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5). Yet, Paul Washer says if you don't have works, you're going to Hell. The Bible teaches the exact opposite, that your “many wonderful works” will send you to Hell (Matthew 7:21-23).

You don't go to Heaven by doing GOOD WORKS, nor by giving up your BAD WORKS! Hebrews 6:1 in the inspired King James Bible speaks of repentance from DEAD WORKS. That is, ceasing from trusting in any and all works to be saved. What saith the Scripture? Hebrews 4:10-11, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” Oh how I love this Scripture passage! God set the eternal example for us on the seventh day of creation, when He ceased from all His works, and RESTED. 

The blessed Sabbath Day represents Jesus Christ, in Whom we completely REST for salvation. It is alarming that tens of thousands of pastors today have bought into the Devil's lie of Misunderstood Repentance and Lordship Salvation (two excellent articles by Pastor Jack Hyles), two separate but often related heresies. The shameful new executive vice president of Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa, Dr. Marty Herron is guilty of these evil teachings! This man is a shameful opportunist, following the money wherever it leads, serving his own belly instead of the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 16:17-18; Titus 1:10-13). When I literally handed THE TRUTH to him in 2014 at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, Pastor Herron rejected it! 

Consequently, HBC still today is a cesspool of iniquity, a rotting corpse in Christendom. Bob Jones University today is not the same college that it was 75 years ago while Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968) was still alive and at the helm. Tragically, for the past 40 years the university has taken a dangerous shift of course into new-evangelism, adopting the satanic lies of Misunderstood Repentance and Lordship Salvation. 

According to our text Bible passage from Galatians 6:7-8, God PROMISES to punish them for hobnobbing with the Devil's crowd. The churches in Galatia had allowed a suave, likable and trendy religious cult into their midst, which required keeping the Old Testament law to get to Heaven. In a word, WORKS! This is the SAME evil false doctrine being taught by sinister ministers' John MacArthur, Steve Pettit and Marty Herron today (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15), requiring people to “REPENT AND TURN AWAY FROM THEIR SIN” to get to Heaven. In a word, WORKS! No such teaching is found in the Word of God, unless you have one of the corrupted modern Bible's Bible revisions, like the English Standard Version (ESV).

I Want God To Avenge Me Of The Utterly Wicked Bob Jones Crowd

The biggest problem (and it is wickedness) that I see today going on in churches, especially in the United States, is that pastors and congregations alike just don't give a damn! As long as their 6-digit paychecks clears, Marty Herron and Steve Pettit don't give a damn. Well I do! By God's grace, I intend to preach against these wicked men for the rest of my earthly life. Marty Herron played God with my life between 2014 to 2018, and Kristen Hurlburt as well as her boss, costing her as my wife. I love Kristen and always will. I deeply miss and love her. I KNOW as sure as I am saved that Kris would have married me, if her pastors hadn't ostracized me as an evildoers for TELLING THE TRUTH. 

I humbly want God to avenge me of Kristen, and I have that biblical right (Romans 12:19-21). Those wicked pastors must pay for the evil they have done. They must be held accountable by God almighty for rejecting THE TRUTH of a free grace Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). They must be held accountable by God almighty for perverting the Word of God, for adding words to the Bible that God did not say (Proverbs 30:5-6; Deuteronomy 4:2; Revelation 22:19). I want God to speedily avenge me of Harvest's ungodly corrupt pastors, who all insisted that Martin Luther (1483-1546) is a born-again Christian in Heaven, even after I proved to them with Luther's own writings that he taught the heresy of Baptismal Regeneration until his death.

I want God to bring Herron's blood upon his own head, for all the souls he has deceived and damned to the Lake of Fire with his fake Bibles, Misunderstood Repentance, Lordship Salvation and for booting me from Harvest Baptist Church on Guam in 2014, and banning me from returning. I begged in 2017 three times for Harvest's pastors to please let me return, so I could court Kristen Hurlburt (their school nurse). Oh how I love her so! There hasn't been a day since 2013 that I haven't thought about her, wanting to marry her. 

What kind of pastors refuse to allow a broken, humble and hurting man to even sit in church? A monster like Marty Herron, who is a rotten phony Christian, that's who! The man dresses for success, a member of the elite white shoe boy's club, an arrogant snob who thinks he is better than people like me. That is not a true man of God. That is a secular businessman, a wolf in sheep's clothing, preying upon complicity apostate churches! I am not just a peeved man with a blog. Dear reader, I am upset with the Bob Jones crowd for very legitimate reasons. I am a thankful graduate of Hyles-Anderson College in Crownpoint, Indiana. I have never regretted my time and money spent to attend HAC, it was a privilege for which I will always be grateful to God, my parents (who encouraged my choice to attend HAC), and my hero of the faith Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001). 

I attended Bible college for 8 years, between 1985 to 1993, when I graduated on the Dean's List. I worked hard to finish what I started, and by God's grace I did. Many of my Bible professors are alumni of Bob Jones University. So I am speaking out as someone with an inside view of my own independent fundamentalist Baptist group. The Bob Jones crowd have a sordid history of racism, prejudice, hatred, authoritarian intolerance, lack of compassion for hurting people, lack of mercy, abuse, and even abuse toward victims (literally blaming rape victims and telling them to repent). CONCORD, N.H. — A woman says she was sexually assaulted as a teenager and that the pastor of her church told her to forgive and forget instead of doing what the law required: report it to authorities.

The woman commented after a recent trial during which a New Hampshire prosecutor suggested that the same pastor, the Rev. Chuck Phelps, did not do enough to help another young church member, a rape victim.

Phelps, former pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Concord and now a pastor at a Baptist church in Indianapolis, has not returned messages seeking comment.

I was abused horribly at the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam by Marty Herron. That wicked man abused me between 2014 and 2018 because I befriended him with THE TRUTH. Pastor Herron could have simply befriended me, talking to me like a normal human being. Instead, he had his associate pastor Joe Hansen confront me (doing the dirty work) in the church office, as Herron sat there for the coward that he is. Just like Charles Phelps, who did nothing when allegations of sexual abuse happened in the church, Marty Herron washed his hands of the matter, knowing that my life was broken and I desperately needed his love and help at that time. Folks, something is very wrong with these shameful Bob Jones pastors, when they care more about protecting their pride, church and comfort level, than they do about real people!

I too feel like I was emotionally raped by the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. I was always kind, loving, generous and friendly toward everyone at the church. But they were rude, mean, uncaring and quick to get rid of me. My only crime was sharing my humble opinion with them that the King James Bible is the only Bible we can trust today, and the modern Bible revisions (literally HUINDREDS of them) are corrupt. That is what I believe. Was it going to ruin the pastors and church, because as a free American I have my own opinion? Sadly, these men are abusive thugs in church leadership! They bully people, forcing people to embrace THEIR TEACHINGS ONLY. You don't have the freedom to be yourself in the Bob Jones camo. If you don't dot your i's and cross your t's just right, they gang up on you, force you out, ostracize you, and then blame you for their ungodly hatred, prejudice and sickening behavior.

I am thankful that God promises in Galatians 6:7 to hold false teachers, and those who follow them, accountable. Jeremiah 5:31, “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Pastor Marty Herron shamefully thought he would stab me in the heart, back and neck and then flee to Iowa, like the serpent in Genesis after ruining Eve's life. The face of a coward is the back of a man's head as he flees from a battle. Marty Herron is a slick religious used people salesman, preying upon churches any way that he can to feed his belly. 

Dr. Herron literally uses people, milking them dry of their money to feed his shady fake form of uncaring Christianity. If you are parents with money, Marty loves you! He went from preying upon parents with money at Harvest Baptist Academy and Harvest Baptist Bible College on Guam, to preying upon parents with me at their disgusting religious college in Iowa. They charge parents $30,000 a year at the Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa. I am so sick and tired of the sinister complacency of professed Christians today. Nobody gives a damn anymore about right Bible doctrine, or hurting people that need help, or things that really matter. When I pleaded earnestly for Pastor Herron's help with my broken life in 2017, three times, he threw me under the bus and left me for dead. God will treacherously deal with Marty Herron the way that he treacherously dealt with me, like garbage (Matthew 7:1-2). 

And then I read about that two teenage girls that were raped by a church member, and Herron's good buddy Chuck Phelps did nothing, telling the girls that THEY NEED TO REPENT! It gets much worse, look at what Dr. Steve Pettit (another buddy of Marty Herron, and president of BJU) did to a BJU student who was raped. He expelled him from the college! Folks, I am exposing the satanic Bob Jones University camp!!! Beware of Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Gary Walton (the new shameful BJU incompetent pastor of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam), John MacArthur, Chuck Phelps, and countless more infidels and shady characters lurking in the pulpit today, are of the Devil. John MacArthur is a BJU alumni and personal buddy of Herron, Pettit and others I listed. Look at what a scoundrel John MacArthur is!!! I call these people shady for good reason! These wicked imposters in Christianity fall all over each other with sycophantic praise, because they all have their filthy hands in the cookie jar, preying upon the churches with their greed and false humility. Woe unto the Bob Jones crowd!

Beware Of Shady Ministers' Marty Herron And Chuck Phelps

Any church that would invite someone like Marty Herron (an abusive Bob Jones authoritarian), as did Chuck Phelps (the ungodly minister who covered-up for a child rapist), is a sick man. It gets worse, according to the Boston Globe there is more than one woman accusing Pastor Chuck Phelps of covering up for child rapists! Kindly, please search the internet for these shameful names and for rape victims, authoritarian abuse, lack of compassion and hatred, and you'll see why I preach against them. None of this is Bible Christianity. These men cannot even get the Gospel correct!!! They are wrong on repentance. They are wrong on the Holy Bible. They are wrong on God's simple plan of salvation. 

They are academics, who woefully lack God's compassion for hurting sinners. These phonies in the clergy are arrogant, self-righteous, self-willed, clever conmen and full of wicked pride. Marty Herron ruined my life!!! The woman who would have married me rejected me because of Herron's pressure upon her as her boss. She was the nurse at Harvest. Literally, Joe Hansen was told by Marty Herron to get rid of me. I was told that Kristen would feel uncomfortable is they let me come back to church. Harvest has several hundred church members. Joe Hansen is a walking devil! These wicked men need to be exposed. They corrupt the Gospel. They corrupt the true meaning of repentance. They are woefully unlearned and wrestle the Scriptures to their own destruction, and those who foolishly follow them (2nd Peter 3:9). These men have much blood upon their hurtful hands!!!

These Bob Jones alumni and affiliated religious men are all evil! Whether it be corrupting the Word of God, perverting the Gospel, blaming rape victims and telling them to repent and let it go, covering up for rapists in the group, denying hurting people (like me) the right to attend church for 7 years, ignoring hurting people (like me) who cried out repeatedly for love and help, or financially preying upon the churches—THESE WICKED MEN ARE ALL GUILTY! Marty Herron is 100% guilty! Steve Pettit is 100% guilty! Gary Walton is 100% guilty! John MacArthur is 100% guilty! Chuck Phelps is 100% guilty! These are devils in the pulpit. 

By God's grace, I have dedicated the rest of my life to preach against these dastardly villains, who need to be driven out of every town and banned from standing behind any pulpit, lest they corrupt your family, bilk you of your money, and let rapists prey upon your children!!! God damn these evil men! I think I speak with the Spirit of Christ in me. They certainly haven't exemplified the Spirit of Christ by hating, rejecting and ignoring hurting people (as Marty Herron did me for several years). That man has no heart!!! 

We've got enough yellowbellied pastors today, Caspar Milquetoast types like Marty Herron, opportunists who milk the churches for every penny they can. Herron is now being paid well over $100,000 a year as the executive vice president of Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary (preacher's cemetery) in Ankeny, Iowa. That shameful man belongs in prison, which is where I'd put him for the rest of his life if I had the power to do so! 2nd Corinthians 11:6, “But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.” God knows that I love everyone, and I don't hate anybody; but I also LOVE JUSTICE!!! These men need to be brought to JUSTICE, which is what out text verse promises from God. Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” 

I have spoken THE TRUTH! I told THE TRUTH that the modern Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort Bible revisions (since the year 1881) are all corrupted by the Devil. I told THE TRUTH that Lordship Salvation is a perversion of God's free grace. I told THE TRUTH that repentance simply means “a change of mind,” and doesn't mean “to turn away from sinning.” I told THE TRUTH that Martin Luther was not a born-again believer, because he trusted in water baptism his whole life. I told THE TRUTH and was persecuted by Marty Herron, Joe Hansen, Jared Baldwin, Gary Walton and Harvest's other pastors for it. Between 2014 and 2021, they all threw me under the bus, knowing that I desperately needed their love, compassion and help with my broken life. Kristen Hurlburt wanted to marry me, and I her, but Harvest's wicked pastors kept us apart, and for that I want God to avenge me of their hatred, persecution and evil hardened arrogant perverse hearts, because I TOLD THE TRUTH!!!!!!!

Hebrews 6:10, God's Promise Not To Forget Our Labors Of Love For Him

Hebrews 6:10, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

This precious Bible promise gives me much comfort. I have suffered through much pain in my lifetime, both physical from an old neck injury, and emotional pain caused by much trauma in my life. Sadly, much of the inexplicable pain in my life has been caused over the past 7 years by Pastor Marty Herron and the ungodly Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. I cannot put into words how wicked these pastors are, and how little they care about truth or hurting people.

The Bible teaches that Jesus is not unrighteous to overlook and forget about our earthly labors for him. I almost commit suicide when Kristen Hurlburt rejected me as my wife in 2017. I told her that I loved her, and that I had thought about her every day since Harvest's pastors drove me out of church in 2014. I have thought about Kris every day since, and it is now 2021. I love her very much. The only thing that kept me from committing suicide in 2017 is knowing that I can still labor for Christ, and make a difference for eternity. Jesus is my Savior, not Kristen. I serve a precious risen Savior. 

I have been so lonely in my life for the longest time. I have so much love to give away. I am looking for a sweetheart and hopefully in Florida I will find someone to make happy, take out to eat and movies, hold her hand, and have a loyal friend to stand by my side in my soulwinning ministry. Kristen missed out on a great guy! I love her so much, still do, and always will. She passed up a really great guy who loves her with all his heart. Kris is immature, and told me never to contact her again. If Kris had simply contacted me in any way, I would have reassured my love for her. I was terrified to contact her once she told me never to contact her again. That is no way to treat a guy who loves you!

My heart was very sad today, thinking about Kristen. I know I need to let go and move on, but I have no one to replace her with. My life is stuck in 2014 at Harvest Baptist Church. That is why I am leaving Guam. I cannot take the pain of soul anymore. I need a gal to love. Only God knows what the future holds. I love music and plan to play my guitar and ukulele at Pensacola Beach. I plan to give away a lot of Gospel tracts. God is so very good! It is not God's fault that my life is a mess. I have myself to blame for that. Sadly, the pastors of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, who could have made all the difference in the world if they'd simply forgave and given me a second chance when I begged for it 3 times, threw me under the bus and left me for dead. I died in my heart, since 2014, having no life and having lost the woman that I love. I won't hate God for what wicked men do unto me.

Jesus promises in Hebrews 6:10 not to forget my labors for Him. Hebrews 6:10, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” God knows that I work night and day on my truth-telling ministry, which is very challenging in lieu of my constant neck pain and sensation of burning throughout my nervous system. My afflictions keep me very humble. God is so good to us all. Oh how I wish Kris had said, “Yes,” when I asked her to allow me to court her for marriage in 2017. Kris has no one to blame but herself that we didn't get married. I am truly heartbroken by her decision. I tried, but she dealt harshly with me. Kristen does not share my soul's depth of passion for truth, love and people. If she did, she never would have hurt me deeply the way she did, when I gave her my heart.

The silver lining in all my loss, pain, suffering, loneliness and tears is that God promises not to forget my diligent labors night and day for Him. My ministry is a labor of love. I have never made a single penny since 2002. People have sent me money and I have kindly sent it back to them. I will never take a cent for serving God. That is simply a vow that I made to myself as a teenager, when God called me to preach at age 15. My ministry is TO THE SAINTS. I was greatly encouraged recently when I saw a sermon by Pastor Dennis Rokser titled: 'GETTING THE GOSPEL RIGHT AND WRONG.' What encouraged me is that as I watched the video sermon, I recognized a bunch of pictures and quotes from my website ministry, that no one else uses. It became very obvious to me that God had used my humble labors to influence this dear Baptist preacher in Duluth, Minnesota. I love preachers and thank God when people copy my stuff. TAKE IT ALL and use it for Jesus Christ!!!

What a fantastic sermon! My heart rejoices when I hear preachers who get the Gospel right. Brother Rokser gets it 100% correct, and I love him for it. God pity these accursed corrupt ministers like Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Chuck Phelps, John MacArthur, John Piper, Ray Comfort, Sam Horn, Adrian Rodgers, Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, Charles Stanley, John Hagee, Paul Washer, Gary Walton, Charles Lawson, Jack Chick, and countless more infidels, who preach a PERVERSE GOSPEL of partial faith in Christ plus something else!!!

Dear friend, the Word of God tells us simply to BELIEVE to be saved. The most important question that anyone could ever ask was presented to the Apostle Paul in Acts 16:30-31, and here also was Paul's reply, “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” There it is—simple, free and easy! 

Yet, Pastor Marty Herron says it is not enough to admit to God that you are a sinner and believe the Gospel to be saved, he says “you must also turn away from a lifestyle of sin to be saved.” I heard him say it with my very own two ears in 2014 at the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. I went home and cried in disgust. Marty's hero, Dr. Steve Pettit, taught this demonic blasphemy to 2,700 students and faculty on January 26, 2015 at Bob Jones University:

“You can't just speak about getting saved, and you accepted Christ, and then that's it! There is a justification; There is a sanctification; There's ultimately a glorification, and though there are three parts, they are all part of the whole, and you cannot separate them. In order for you to qualify for the award, you have to get into the race, you have to stay in the race, and you have to finish the race. If you want to win, you have to run to the end; and winning in the Christian life is everything, because if you lose—if you don't finish—you lose everything—you lose your SOUL. And so, the Christian race is the life of faith that begins, is run, and is finished when we cross over into Heaven!” —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 11:34)

Dr. Pettit was inspired by demons when he preached that horrible message! BJU is preaching their students another gospel (Galatians 1:6-9; 1st Corinthians 15:1-4). How does any of that relate to what we just read in Acts 16:31, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Oh dear reader, please don't let these theological madmen take you to Hell with them. Lordship Salvation is a lie of the Devil.

In hindsight, something was wrong with Kristen Hurlburt. When a man tells a woman that he loves her, and has thought about her every day for over 2 years, and wants to marry her, and she cruelly jades him, that woman has no heart. Why do I always fall in love with unloving people? It appears that my love was only a one way street, which she did not reciprocate. At a minimum she could have broke it gently to me. She was mean and didn't show any gratitude for the two Alexander Scourby King James Bible DVD's I gave her as gifts. I also gave her a 1922 original copy of the Gospel of John from Moody Publishers. It is obvious to me now that Kris only wanted a husband, not a man who truly thought she was the world to him. Husbands are dime a dozen, but Kristen will NEVER find a man like me. I am not a common man. God has given me a special heart, as Dr. Jack Hyles had for everybody. That beautiful man taught me how to love. I have never known such a beautiful soul in my life than Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001), my hero of the Christian faith. 

And so, in my pain of soul and loneliness, I will continue to labor night and day for my precious Savior, wife or no wife by my side. Kris lost out on sharing all my heavenly rewards! Hebrews 6:10, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” God only knows the tens of thousands of hours I have invested over the past 19 years into my internet ministry. My prayers are with all my web visitors. You are my epistles known and read of all men (2nd Corinthians 3:2). I have many spiritual children throughout the world, who look up to me as their parent in the Lord, because I led them to Jesus. I love you all, prayerfully serving others freely in love, humbly giving ALL the praise and credit to Jesus Christ alone. 

Whatever labors I have achieved all these many painful and difficult years of ministry, it was simply Christ laboring through me (Galatians 2:20; Philippians 2:13). I am tired, frustrated and lonely, moving forward from Guam to Florida all by myself, and it is scary; but I know God is always with me, and I'm LOOKING TO JESUS the Author and Finisher of my faith (Hebrews 12:2). Things will work out (Romans 8:28). One day at a time. Time heals all wounds, as the depth of emotional scars fade, and painful memories are overlaid with new ones, and the eternal precious PROMISES of our Lord Jesus Christ continually rejoices our sorrowful heart. John 16:22, “And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.”

John 11:25-26, God's Promise Of The Resurrection

John 11:23-26, “Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”

The Lord made this precious promise of the resurrection in John 11:25-26. His friend Lazarus had died four days earlier. Lazarus' body already smelled with rotting decay in the tomb. Jesus is speaking together with Martha, the sister of Lazarus. She is confident that one day in the future her brother will rise up again. The Lord reiterates to her that He is fact IS THE RESURRECTION, AND THE LIFE. 

The Lord says that whosoever liveth and abideth in Him shall never die. It would be bad Bible interpretation to add living to believing based solely upon this Scripture passage. In the Gospel of John we find the word “BELIEVE” mentioned 85 times, with no mention of anything else required for salvation. You don't have to believe AND live in Christ to be saved; but rather, to believe in Christ produces the new birth, which makes a person alive in the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9).

I heard Pastor John MacArthur the other day on YouTube speaking very deceitfully. He was saying simply to believe to be saved. Yet, I can show you dozens of other places in his damnable writings where MacArthur requires much more than just believing to be saved. You see, in John MacArthur's errant mindset, faith means commitment of one's entire personality to Christ as absolute Lord, denying of self, turning away from sin, following Jesus no matter what the cost. But that is not the Bible meaning of faith. True faith is resting in Christ's finished work of redemption, and nothing more! Requiring anything more than simply resting in what Jesus did on the cross to pay for our sins is a perversion of God's grace.

We have God's promise in John 11:25-26 that whosoever BELIEVES in the Son of God has eternal life, and will be wholly resurrected someday. The heathen world is continually searching for new technology to extend human life, and even revive the dead in the future. Companies like Alcor freeze dead bodies and decapitated heads of clients for large sums of money. Their hope is that technology will greatly advance in the future, so that their frozen mind can be extracted and reinserted into a new cloned human body. I can confidently tell you that such nonsense will never become a reality. God would not allow such a bizarre thing to happen.

Dear friend, why go to such crazy extremes, when we can simply BELIEVE on the Savior and have the Lord's promise of a new resurrected body in the future? My hope is built on nothing more or less, than Jesus Christ and His righteousness! I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus name. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.

Romans 8:28, God's Promise That All Things Will Work Together For Good

Romans 8:26-29, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Romans 8:28 was Pastor Lee Roberson's (1907-2007) life's Bible verse, that he always wrote down when he signed King James Bibles. If you're anything like me dear Christian friend, your life hasn't gone the way that you hoped. In fact, my life has been a train wreck. My father (who was a neo-evangelical Skid Row minister) disowned me in 2002 over the King James Bible. In 2004 I started having horrible chronic pain and tension in my neck. I was diagnosed with cervical stenosis, displaced disks and radiculopathy. My wife divorced me in 2006. I lost my home soon thereafter to pay for legal expenses. My family was a wreck. In 2009 and 2010 I underwent two major neck surgeries thousands of miles away, with no one by my side. I wanted to die. The second surgery made me 100%, leaving me with constant burning in my nerves and both arms feeling inflated with air all the time. I went into a major depression. 

In 2013 I tried to move from Guam to Hawaii, then Tennessee, but I was eventually overwhelmed with loneliness and no friends or family by my side. I spent $50,000 going in a big 4 month circle, coming back to Guam tired, frustrated and defeated. In late 2013 I crawled into the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. I needed their help and love desperately, which they gave me for several months. I fell in love and found a woman that I wanted to marry. But then I made a fatal error by befriending the incompetent church pastors with THE TRUTH. The church was using dozens of Devil's Bibles. They were preaching the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation. They were preaching Misunderstood Repentance, telling people that God would not save them unless they turned away from a sinful LIFESTYLE. I spend several hundred dollars in hard copies of books. I gave them personally to the pastors. 

Consequently, I was driven out of church. The pastors threw me under the bus like a bag of garbage. The woman I loved and loved me was gone. I lost everything, again. In desperation I begged to return to church in 2017, still in love with the church nurse. The pastors were cruel and to me to “Go elsewhere.” Since that time I have had nowhere to go, and haven't been to church in seven long years because of them. God will make them pay! The woman I loved moved away and married another man, which broke my heart. That evil no good devil Marty Herron went his merry way, like the serpent in Genesis, after destroying people's lives. I almost commit suicide because of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. The new pastor, Gary Walton, has been no better since 2018, keeping me under the bus. What a wicked person!

I suffer in constant loneliness and pain. I struggle day by day to find happiness. My nerves burn continually. Nobody cares about me at Harvest, who exemplify a money-oriented cult. All I can do in my loneliness, suffering and pain is claim Romans 8:28, that somehow, someway, someday that God will make it all work together for good. I would rather die than not have a wife for the rest of my days. I need companionship. I am working diligently now to move again. I have chosen east Tennessee. God willing, I will move in July, as soon as possible. I can only pray and ask God to help me find a new church family, and hopefully meet someone that shares my heart of passion and concern for truth and people. The ungodly people at Harvest Baptist Church have shown me by example everything that a professed Christian shouldn't be!

Furthermore, they are NOT born-again believers, because they are wrong on the Gospel. They are wrong on repentance. They are wrong on the Bible. They are in big trouble with God. If I weren't a child of God, I would have killed myself a long time ago, to make the pain stop. But I know that God is still on His throne, and He loves me. I don't feel loved by God right now. I don't see God's hand at work in my life. I keep falling in love with the wrong women, who don't reciprocate my feelings. Rejection hurts. But they rejected me, and I can live with that. The nurse at Harvest emailed me and told me never to contact her again. Once she said that, my hands were tied, and it was a matter of my honor as a man. So I abided by her directive, as hard as it was was me, because I am a gentleman. She has made her foolish choice.

God is always good. I will NEVER put the Lord on trial for the things that I don't understand. Pastor Jack Hyles wisely taught me that: “To lose something in the will of God is to find something better.” I lost my church family at Harvest Baptist Church, and Kristen and Abby whom I wanted to marry rejected me, and I haven't had a church family since 2015, all because I TOLD THE TRUTH to Harvest's ungodly pastors. HELL WILL BE HOT FOR THEM! Matthew 7:21-23 plainly describes their fate, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” I earnestly long to hear the Lord deny knowing them all, so that THE TRUTH will be vindicated.

You have God's promise dear child of God, that when all is said and done, all things will WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD. The Bible doesn't say that all things will be good. Clearly, my life has been a miserable existence so far. Truthfully, I hate my life. I have been completely alone for the past 15 years, and am daily consumed with finding a wife. It hurts me that the selfish pastors of Harvest couldn't care less about me as a human being. I pray night and day for God to avenge me of their cruelty and heathendom. That is no way for a church to behave.

I don't know how, but God promised in Romans 8:28 that everything is going to work out. Right now I am utterly disgusted with everything. I have turned off my emails for the next several months. I just need to be left alone. I am tired in my soul and pissed off about my situation. Enough is enough! It has been too long that I have been alone and I am done surviving like this. I cannot continue surviving as a recluse. I have been contacting dozens of realtors, most of whom didn't even bother to reply. The few that did were worthless. Then I contacted dozens of rental websites, trying to find a place to rent in Tennessee. It has been a nightmare! Most don't respond. Some wait weeks to reply. Only one panned out, and I applied, but they are dragging their feet in the approval process, and I want to move now.

I am working on my medical, staying up all night later today if I have to, to find a doctor. I have already found the cheapest hotel available, for $1,200 a month. I need to get the hell off Guam. I cannot take anymore hatred, rejection and pain from Harvest Baptist Church. What a damned religious cult! Harvest's pastors are not men, they are childish cowards! May God do the same evil unto them as they have done unto me (Romans 12:19-21). Right now I don't feel like anything will ever work out, but the Bible says we WALK BY FAITH, AND NOT BY SIGHT. So I am trusting the great heart of God, knowing that I am in the right, because I told THE TRUTH (Romans 3:4). Since I have suffered great loss, pain and loneliness for my faithful stand for God's Word, the Lord is bound by His honor and promises to recompense me. 

I have faith in God (Mark 11:22). God PROMISES in Romans 8:28 that all things will WORK TOGEHTER for good. I don't know what, when, where or how, but they will work out for good. I pray for God to avenge me. I pray for God to bless me. God has already cursed those who disregarded the truth at Harvest and Bob Jones University (Galatians 1:6-9). God will not be mocked, the Bob Jones crowd WILL reap what they have sown (Galatians 6:7). 

Until then all I can do is hang in there, in my bad situation, and hope prayerfully that God will help me rebuild my broken life one step at a time. Right now I am planning on moving to Knoxville, and to attend the Temple Baptist Church in Powell. I hope to find a wife there, God willing. They have a singles ministry, which I definitely want to look into and join if I am welcomed at age 54. I very much need a church family. Pray for me dear friends. Most of the churches today are pathetic, which is the only reason I have suffered for the past seven lonely years, because of the hatred of Marty Herron, Gary Walton and Harvest's complicit members, who have banned and ostracized me from attending church services. They are of the Devil.

Psalms 48:14, God's Promise To Guide Us

Psalms 48:14, “For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.”

What a wonderful promise from God! The Bible teaches that God has promised to guide the believer unto death. The word guide in the Hebrew is, nahag, meaning, “to drive, lead, guide, conduct.” Carefully notice that the word “guide” does NOT mean to force or compel. God has promised to lead us through this life; BUT He will not force us to do the right thing.

Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God...” Unlike the Devil's crowd who allure their victims with flashing neon lights, God does not force Himself upon mankind. Man has a freewill. God didn't force Noah to build the ark; but rather, Noah built the ark by faith in the Lord (Hebrews 11:7). God didn't force David to fight Goliath; but rather, David fought Goliath by faith in God (Hebrews 11:32). Genuine faith is dynamic, i.e., it makes things happen. Passive faith is no faith at all, but mere optimism. Obedience to the Word of God is faith.

John 10:11 and 27, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep... My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

Do you see, we are the sheep and Jesus Christ is the Divine Shepherd who guides us.

Psalm 25:9, “The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.”

Psalm 31:3, “For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.”

Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

Psalm 48:14, “For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.”

Psalm 73:24, “Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.”

Psalm 78:52, “But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.”

Psalm 78:72, “So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.”

God has promised to guide the believer throughout life, if we will be led by the Spirit of Christ through the Word of God. What an awesome Savior!!!

It's been said that a coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous. What we call coincidence is often in fact God's timing. God continues to guide and direct our paths, even when it seems that we are being led out of the way sometimes. God knows exactly what's going on. Matthew 20:29-30 says that God even knows the number of hairs on our head. Nothing ever occurs to God. Psalms 136:1-6 is an amazing passage of Scriptures, comforting us that God knows every minute detail of our life, 24 hours a day, even the very thoughts of our mind before we think them...

Psalms 139:1-6, “O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.”

It's important that we do our part and then just rest in the promises of God, trusting the Lord to do His part in His own unique ways and time. Proverb 3:5-6 teaches to trust upon the Lord, lean not unto our own understanding, and to acknowledge God in all our ways. The Hebrew word for “acknowledge” is yawdah and means: “A primitive root; to know (properly to ascertain by seeing).” It means that we ought to seek God's opinion in every decision of life. Interestingly, the Bible never tells us to SEEK God's will in our life; but rather, to KNOW what the will of God is from the Bible. This is why Jesus commanded every Christian in John 5:39... SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!!! What does the Bible teach?

Search The Scriptures

The Holy Spirit guides us with the Holy Scriptures. Jesus said in John 5:39a, “SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES”!!! We cannot reasonably expect God to lead us if we are unwilling to study the Bible. So many people spend their lives pursuing “God's will” to no avail, because they remain ignorant of the Scriptures. How can we know God's will if we refuse to know God's Word? The Bible is God's instruction manual for humanity. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.” John 17:17, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” The Holy Spirit NEVER guides us contrary to the Word of God.

Beware Of False Shepherds

Many people today are being deceived by a host of demonic psychic mediums on TV, who speak about “spirits”; but they know not the Holy Spirit of God. Literally, millions of people are seeking spiritual guidance from imposters like John Edward, Sylvia Browne, Char Margolis, James Van Praagh, Oprah Winfrey, and Dr. Phil. These are all Modernists, who speak about God; but it is not the God of the Bible. They speak about spirits; but they are familiar spirits (i.e., demons). Any mention of spirituality or spirits that exclude the Word of God is Satanic! 

Keep this thought in mind. 2nd Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” Do you ever hear the psychics talking about obedience to Christ? No. of course they don't. They are sinfully arrogant and proud, exalting themselves against the knowledge of God, i.e., the Word of God.

New Age is a deadly poison, which has infiltrated and infested American TV, books, magazines, movies, and school curriculum. The basic idea of New Age is that there is NO actual Person called God; but rather, God is merely the energy of life, the “force” behind everything, and a light which can be reached through any sincere attempt. New Agers reject the Biblical teaching that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven (John 14:6). Thus, New Age is a lie of the Devil (1st John 2:22). Many occult practices are rooted in New Age philosophies, including reincarnation.

Trust and Obey, For There Is No Other Way To Be Happy In Jesus

There are many things which I do not understand about God, such as why children are allowed to suffer. I realize that man is to blame, and sin is the culprit; but if I were God, I could never allow a child to suffer. However, I am not God, thankfully, for I would likely destroy half the population, and I would start with SIN CITY Las Vegas! God is so longsuffering and patient towards mankind; but God's patience will come to an end during the Tribulation Period (Matthew 24:3-28), and at the Great White Throne of Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15). God is as vengeful (2nd Thessalonians 1:8) as He is merciful (Joel 2:13).

We must trust God, and not lean upon our own human reasoning (Proverb 3:5-7). What could we possibly know, having only been alive for a few years? I marvel at the willing ignorance and arrogance of college students, who follow the unbelief of their heathen professors, who seem to have all the answers concerning life; but they are as fools headed for utter destruction (Romans 1:22). It is rebellion against God! The world places God on trial, demanding PROOF of His existence; YET, nature itself is abundant proof of God's Divine Godhead and power (Psalm 19:1-3; Romans 1:20). Go to any isolated pagan people on earth, and you'll find faith in some sort of God. Only in modern civilization do we find men and women who deny the existence of a Divine Creator. It is out of wishful thinking, and not genuine conviction, that there are atheists in the modern world today.

Anybody can obey God if they are willing to ACKNOWLEDGE Him. Romans 1:21, “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” The word “glorified” means “to acknowledge.” Every child KNOWS that there's a God at some point in their life. As they grow older, they'll either acknowledge God's presence in their life or turn aside after Satan. The sinful world does not acknowledge God, and their glories and accomplishments are empty and meaningless. Their foolish heart is darkened, hardened by sin and unbelief. They are the blind leading the blind. Psalms 37:23, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.”

We read in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Carefully notice that there are three things listed, as prerequisites, for us to do in order for God to direct our paths:

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart.
Lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him.

MANY people today are seeking God's direction in their life; but they are foolishly going to the Modernists, the psychics, the so-called “experts,” the talk show hosts, and the greedy televangelists; BUT, they ought to be going to God's Word. The Bible tells us to acknowledge God in all our ways, and not to rely upon our own human understanding. We are to acknowledge God in every area of our life.

The Hebrew word for “acknowledge” in Proverbs 3:6 is yada and means “to know” (properly to ascertain by seeing). The word “ascertain” means “after a calculation, investigation, experiment, or study.” Hence we are to investigate and study the Scriptures for answers, seeking God's will in every decision we make in life. The Bible is our field manual. Although we may not be able to find an exact Scripture reference concerning a particular issue, we can usually form a conclusion based upon Biblical principles. Jesus commanded every believer to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES (John 5:39).

For Example: 2nd Corinthians 6:14, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” Therefore, we know that it is unbiblical for a Christian believer to be unequally yoked together with an unbeliever in a marriage or business partnership. To marry an unsaved person would make the Devil your father-in-law. God is our heavenly Father as believers.

Our part is to trust and obey! Proverbs 3:6 can be divide into two sections:

The first is composed of 6 word,

“IN ALL THY WAY ACKNOWLEDGE HIM,”

And then the second part,

“AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS.”

If we cannot find an answer in the Scriptures, only then ought we to seek God's will through prayer. It is never proper to seek God's will prayerfully about a matter that is already answered in the Bible.

For example: You don't need to pray for God's will concerning whether or not it's okay to marry an unbeliever. 2nd Corinthians 6:14 already gives us the answer, no.

For example: You don't need to pray for God's will about becoming a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader, because 1st Timothy 2:9 commands women to dress in modest apparel. That definitely means, no, to joining the whore team!

God Will Guide His Children Along

God has promised to guide the “meek,” that is, those who are willing to be taught and led, docile, cooperative. Psalms 25:9, “The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.” Most people don't care what God thinks. If we eagerly study the Bible for God's opinion, and are willing to do as God commands, then He will guide us throughout life as He has PROMISED. Isn't that awesome!

So many people today (including many immature believers) sinfully place God on trial, basing their judgment upon their own human, finite, limited reasoning. Notice again in Proverbs 3:5 that we are NOT supposed to lean unto our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” The only opinion that matters is God's opinion. I love the Bible, because it is the thoughts of God's heart to each generation (Psalms 33:11). Hebrews 4:12 teaches that the Bible is able to discern even between our soul and spirit, revealing the true intentions of our heart. The Bible shows us THE TRUTH. I love the Bible because it is pure, honest and truthful about everything. There is no deceit.

I love the next Scripture. Psalms 10:4, “The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.” The Christian who loves Jesus wants God's thoughts with him continually. How else can we acknowledge God in all our ways if we do not include God in all our thoughts? Romans 1:28 says that the wicked do not like to retain God in their mind, just as we also learned in Psalms 10:4. As God's children we ought to listen, study (research to comprehend), memorize and meditate (think about) God's Word continually. Psalms 40:8, “I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.”

King David said he mediated in God's Word day and night (Psalm 1:2). That means thinking about the Bible deliberately and consciously, seeking God's wisdom. James 1:5 teaches to pray for wisdom and God will give it to us. Proverbs 4:7, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” All of these precious teachings in the Bible go hand-in-hand. If we want God to guide us, then we must have a meek spirit that is willing to submit to God's Word. We must trust upon the Lord and not lean unto our OWN opinions. We must fear the Lord and depart from evil (Proverbs 3:7). God wants to guide us, but He cannot if we are stubborn as a mule and insist upon doing things the Frank Sinatra way, that is, “I DID IT MY WAY” (lyrics from Sinatra's famous song, “My Way”). Sinatra certainly did do it his way, and he's burning in the fires of Hell forever.

God's ways are above our ways, and His thoughts above our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” We won't always make the right decisions, for we are flawed humans. Albeit, God knows our heart (Proverbs 24:12) and judges accordingly. Psalms 44:21, “Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.”

If we do our part, then God will do His. If we will trust the Lord Jesus, and base all of our decisions upon the Word of God, regardless of our feelings on the matter, then He has promised to GUIDE us!
