The Promise Of God's Free Gift Of Eternal Life

Romans 5:15-18, “But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.”

SIX TIMES the inspired Word of God in this beautiful passage mention the word “gift” in the phrases “the gift” and “the free gift.” The Holy Bible is abundantly clear that forgiveness of sins and eternal life are the free gift of God. A gift can be received without any obligation to perform a service or do a work. That is why it is a gift.

In fact, nothing can truly be a gift if there are any requirements to give something in return. All of these incompetent pastors, religious college professors and evangelists today who teach that you must first be willing to turn from your sinful ways to be saved are liars. They are preaching another gospel. What they are doing is mixing discipleship with sonship, trying to force people to commit to live a holy life as a requirement to get to Heaven. But that is not God's simple plan of salvation.

Then they'll come back in their utter ignorance and accuse those who preach easy-believism (the true Gospel) of promoting lasciviousness, claiming that we teach it's okay to live in gross immorality as a Christian. I have never taught that nonsense. It is not okay for a believer to live in sin, but that is exactly what we all do, isn't it. You know it's true. We are all wretched sinners. There is no such thing as a good Christian.

That is why the whole ridiculous idea of repenting to turn from your sins to be saved is flawed. The official statement of faith of the toxic Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) reads:
“Repentance is a genuine turning from sin toward God. Faith is the acceptance of Jesus Christ and commitment of the entire personality to Him as Lord and Saviour.” SOURCE
Blasphemy! Faith is not a commitment of your entire personality to Jesus as Lord and Savior. A “commitment” is something that YOU give, but salvation is a free gift in which CHRIST is giving you something. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU. If salvation is truly by grace, then you don't need to start or stop anything to be saved. Eternal life is a free gift from God. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Repentance is a change of mind, nothing more. Repentance is not turning from sin. Foolish ignorant men added those words. Sadly, that includes Dr. John R. Rice (1895-1980). In his very popular tract, 'What Must I Do To Be Saved?,' Dr. Rice writes:
To repent literally means to have a change of mind or spirit toward God and toward sin. It means to turn from your sins, earnestly, with all your heart, and trust in Jesus Christ to save you. You can see, then, how the man who believes in Christ repents and the man who repents believes in Christ. The jailer repented when he turned from sin to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. [emphasis added] SOURCE
That is a counterfeit gospel. Nowhere in the account of the Roman jailer in Acts 16:25-34 does the Bible say that he turned from his sin to believe. In truth, he turned from his unbelief to believe. Nobody has ever turned from their sin, which false teaching clearly implies that you must be willing to give up your sinful bad habits if you want to be saved.

In fact, that is exactly what Jack Chick (1924-2016) wrote in all of his billions of Chick Tracts on the back page. Chick Tracts preach another gospel. I will NEVER again attend any Baptist church that distributes toxic Chick Tracts. Right doctrine matters!

A counterfeit plan of salvation is being preached from nearly every pulpit today. It is tragic. How did this happen? I'll tell you how. Preachers stopped contending for the faith (Jude 1:3). Whatever a pastor stops preaching against is what his church will fill up with in five years. When I took a faithful biblical stand for THE TRUTH, I was kicked out of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College (PCC), Smyrna Baptist Church in Pensacola and Family Baptist Church in Pensacola. Hellholes of apostasy!

I was compelled not to return to Agana Heights Baptist Church on Guam, Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam and the Fairfield Drive Baptist Church in Pensacola. These churches (and the aforementioned ones) are all deadly and doctrinally corrupt. With the exception of Agana Heights Baptist Church (to my knowledge), every one of these churches are affiliated with the PCC cult in Florida. The rabbit hole runs deep. PCC donated $7,000 to the Sword of the Lord in 2015. Consequently, the Sword of the Lord refuses to expose PCC's counterfeit gospel. Truly the love of money is the root of all evil (1st Timothy 6:10-11).

Most pastors and evangelists are guilty of merely following the herd. They go along to get along with their peers. They are not “noble” as were the Bereans in Acts 17:10-11 who searched the Scriptures daily to verify what the Apostle Paul was teaching them. We rarely hear the word “gift” anymore when preachers talk about getting saved. Instead they focus on you forsaking your sinful ways. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU. It is rare anymore to hear an uncorrupted free grace Gospel.

If Pensacola Christian Collège, Bob Jones University, Chick Tracks, Southern Baptist Convention, Unshackled and the tens of thousands of rotten churches today are all correct in their Lordship Salvation and Misunderstood Repentance heresies, then there would have to be two different gospels. Either you must be willing to forsake sinful bad habits to be saved, or you do not, but it absolutely cannot be both. The Bible plainly warns in Romans 3:20, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

The Old Testament law was NEVER given by God with the intention of your keeping it to merit Heaven. Nor was the law given with the intention that you turn from your sins (which effectively is the same as keeping the law) to be saved. Please don't miss what we just read. God's intent for giving the law was to give you 'THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN.' The following passage helps to explain this vital truth. ...
Galatians 3:24-26, “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”
If you understand this inspired Scripture passage dear reader, then it should give you a clearer grasp of God's simple plan of salvation. The law shows us our sinnership, and then brings us to Christ to be saved by God's grace through faith alone. I hope you fully understand this truth, because if you do then it will become abundantly obvious how fake, wicked and wrong are the false teachings of Lordship Salvation and Misunderstood Repentance.
